Telephone Interpreting can be used for business meetings, conference calls and webinars. You could also use it to carry out medical appointments and solicitor consultations to clarify matters in the relevant language or to resolve public issues that you would normally conduct over the phone.

If you have an urgent request an email confirmation would be required to start an immediate telephone interpreting job.

As the telephone interpreter, my function is to convey every semantic element (tone and register) and every intention and feeling of the message that the source-language speaker is directing to target-language recipients. I have over 10 years of experience in that role and my clients often comment on the completed message that is passed between them. I can recognise accents and determine the tone of the subject that is talked about.

My role is to ensure all information is passed appropriately and efficiently while remaining impartial to ensure all conversations are treated confidentially.
A great benefit of using the Telephone Interpreting Service is that the interpreter does not need to be in the same room (or even the country) as the customer!

Telephone Interpreting

Language interpretation is the facilitating of oral or sign-language communication, either simultaneously or consecutively, between two parties of different languages.

An interpreter is a person who converts a thought or expression in a source language into an expression with a comparable meaning in a target language either simultaneously in 'real time' or consecutively after one party has finished speaking.

Telephone Interpreting has become extremely popular during the Covid 19 crisis where face-to-face interpreting was not permitted. It is also a cost-effective way of delivering professional linguistic service.
